Janie Crow Therapy
Janie Crow Therapy
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) serving the Northwest Arkansas area and currently practicing at Gap Relief in Springdale, AR. I offer in-person sessions in Northwest Arkansas and virtual counseling throughout the state of Arkansas.
I believe every person’s story matters and deserves to be heard. I specialize in trauma counseling for survivors of abuse, people feeling lonely or emotionally stuck, first responders, and parents seeking support for their teens. I help clients begin to understand their experiences, notice protective patterns, and gently reconnect with parts of themselves that have been hurt or overwhelmed.
Whether you are carrying the impact of abuse, feeling alone in your experiences, or simply need a safe place to start talking, I would be honored to support you.
I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which are trusted modalities used to support trauma healing.
Starting counseling can be intimidating. You may be someone who rarely asks for help because you’re used to being the one others rely on. Maybe past experiences with vulnerability have made it feel unsafe to open up again. Or perhaps the thought of adding one more appointment to your schedule feels overwhelming right now.
If there is any hesitation there, I want you to know that you deserve to feel seen, understood, and supported. Often, emotional wounds are formed in moments when we felt alone, unseen, or uncared for. Counseling can offer a safe and compassionate space to begin unpacking the emotional burdens you’ve been carrying for far too long.
You don’t have to navigate it all on your own. I would love to help you get started.

Counseling Services I Offer
Counseling is a place where you get to show up as your full self and take up space without having to hold it all together. Sometimes we just need a safe space to begin processing our hurts. Together, we can slow down, explore what is present, and begin making sense of your experiences at your own pace.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps the brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help reduce the emotional intensity of memories so they feel less overwhelming and more integrated over time.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of therapy that helps people understand different “parts” within themselves. These parts can include protective, reactive, or wounded aspects of the self that show up in different situations. Therapy focuses on getting to know these parts with curiosity and compassion so you can heal.
